C4 Events attract experts in the field of behavioral health focused on the latest research and topics. We welcome the media to learn more about behavioral health and addiction information, research, trends and practices at the conference and to disseminate this information to the public. Our staff is available to arrange for interviews and access to workshops and faculty.
Press credentials will be granted only to bona fide working press. Registration fees for approved, working press are waived for C4 Events.

Our workshops and events are private to encourage participants to freely discuss sensitive issues and to engage in active dialog. Therefore, C4 maintains a policy of privacy for its events unless given express permission by C4 Events staff.
News media opportunities (including interviews and photo opportunities) that are held at the venue/during the event are held at the discretion of C4 Events and with the approval of involved attendees and speakers. C4 coordinates news media invitations, approval procedures, as well as ground rules and escort. Media representatives must provide press credentials or identification to receive a conference badge. C4 staff must escort and accompany broadcast reporters to any intended interview or shoot onsite.
Unless specifically arranged beforehand, no conference sessions will be made available to the news media on the record. No participant may be quoted concerning comments he or she has made as part of a workshop/plenary. No quotes obtained from workshop may be used by the news media without permission of the speaker. News media reps may only use information gained during attendance of seminars to improve their knowledge and to help them frame questions they may wish to ask during a later interview. Exhibitors and faculty are not spokespersons for the C4 Recovery Foundation and should not be identified as such in an interview.
Arrangements may be made for news media to unobtrusively visit individual workshops, with express permission from the speaker and C4. News media representatives may not be permitted to attend an entire conference under the guise of “providing coverage.” media may not ask questions of participants or speakers during conference sessions. Interviews are only permitted during breaks and at other times that do not disrupt conduct of the conference itself, and must be coordinated in advance with the C4 staff. Photos of copyrighted material reprinted without the prior consent of the study author/presenter is strictly prohibited.
Under no circumstances will reporters be permitted into a conference with cellular telephones, pagers or other electronic devices that could potentially distract participants. Videotaping and photography, except of introductory or closing sessions when approved, are generally not permitted, for the same reasons, unless coordinated in advance with C4.
Any press registrant who sells, markets or represents a company for the purpose of obtaining advertising or subscriptions from any registrant or exhibitor immediately forfeits press credentials.
C4 Events reserves the right to refuse entry to reporters arriving without prior coordination with the C4 staff or without proper credentials.
